The job, in order

How a gutter job
runs.

Six steps, whether it is one leaking corner or the whole house. The measure is free and the quote lands before anyone touches a bracket.

STEP 01

Free measure and full assessment

We go over the whole system, not just the bit that is dripping: gutters, downpipes, brackets and the fascia behind them, checking for leaks, blockages, rust and damage.

STEP 02

An itemised quote, no surprises

You get the work broken down: the gutter runs, the material, the downpipes, and any extras like fascia repairs or gutter guards. One clear number, and you decide before anything starts.

STEP 03

Old gutters and downpipes off

The old run comes down and we finally see what has been happening behind it. Rotted fascia timber and rusted brackets get shown to you then, not discovered after the new gutters are up.

STEP 04

New gutters cut to your roofline

Measured off your actual roofline and made to fit on site, so the runs sit straight and the joins land where they should. Colour matched to the house, not near enough.

STEP 05

Fixed off, fall set, downpipes placed

Gutters fixed securely with the fall running the right way, and downpipes positioned to carry water clear of the house instead of dumping it beside the footings.

STEP 06

Water test, then we clean up

Water goes through the new system while we are still there, so you watch it drain properly. Then the offcuts and old gutter go with us and the ground gets left tidy.

What they're made of

Three materials.
Three different lifespans.

Material is the biggest single thing that moves a gutter price, and the biggest thing that decides how long the run lasts in Perth weather. Here is the honest comparison.

MATERIAL 01

Aluminium

Lightweight, rust resistant and the friendliest on price. Not as tough as steel or Colorbond, so it suits a budget that has to work today.

MATERIAL 02

Colorbond steel

Coated steel, durable and rust resistant, and it handles the Perth climate well. It costs more per lineal metre than aluminium, but the lifespan makes it the sensible money on most homes. It also colour matches the roof.

MATERIAL 03

Stainless steel

The strongest and most durable option, and it stands up to severe weather. It is also the dearest, so it usually goes on homes where longevity matters more than the upfront number.

The honest call

Repair it,
or replace it.

Plenty of gutters get replaced that only needed fixing, and plenty get patched for years when they were finished. We will tell you which one you have got.

Still worth fixing

Gutter repairs

Leaks located and sealed, joins patched, debris cleared out of the gutters and downpipes, sagging sections realigned so the water actually runs, loose brackets refastened, and rust spots treated and repainted before they eat through.

Then we test the flow. If the run is sound and the problem is local, a repair is the sensible money.

Past fixing

Gutter replacement

Sagging, cracks, rust spots and leaks that keep coming back are the obvious ones. The two people miss: sections pulling away from the roof, and downpipes that no longer drain.

At that point new gutters cost less than another year of water running into the fascia, the walls and the ground around your footings.

Straight numbers

What gutters
honestly cost.

There is no single price for gutters, and anyone quoting one over the phone is guessing. Gutter work is priced off your roofline, so it takes a measure. What we can do is tell you what moves the number, then put the whole job in a written quote.

Our written guarantee.

Our guarantee covers defects in our materials and workmanship for 15 years from the day the job is finished. The terms are in plain words on our warranty page.

What moves the price

Material. Aluminium, Colorbond or stainless steel, priced per lineal metre.

The house. A single storey with an easy layout is cheaper than a multi storey, a steep pitch or a roofline full of tight corners.

Extras. Fascia repairs, extra downpipes and gutter guards add to the number and change how the system performs.

Labour. Proper access and safety gear cost money. Skipping them is how gutters end up sagging and leaking inside two years.

Gutter work across Perth

We work right across the Perth metro, north and south of the river. These suburbs have a page of their own: Applecross, Ascot, Baldivis, Canning Vale, Joondalup, Midland, South Perth, Wanneroo. If yours is not listed we almost certainly still get there, so ask and we will tell you straight away.

Fair questions

Asked every week.
Answered straight.

How do I know if my gutters need replacing?+

Look for sagging, cracks, rust spots and leaks that keep coming back. Then check whether any sections are separating or pulling away from the roof, and whether the downpipes still drain properly. If water is not moving smoothly through the whole system, the problem is the system, not one joint.

What gutter material suits Perth best?+

Colorbond coated steel is the usual answer: durable, rust resistant and made for this climate, and it colour matches the roof. Aluminium is lighter and cheaper but not as tough. Stainless steel is the strongest and the dearest.

How much does gutter replacement cost?+

There is no fixed number, because it is priced off your roofline. Material, whether the house is single or multi storey, the roof pitch and access, any extras like fascia repairs or gutter guards, and the labour all move it. The measure and quote are free, and we have written up the full breakdown in our gutter cost guide.

Do gutter guards actually cut down maintenance?+

Yes, they keep the bigger leaves and debris out, so you clean less often. They do not block everything though. Small particles and dirt still get in, so the gutters still need clearing to keep draining properly.

Do you fix the fascia and downpipes as well?+

Yes. Fascia repairs and replacement and downpipe work are part of what we quote, because there is no point hanging new gutters off timber that has already rotted, or running them into downpipes that cannot cope.

One free measure.
One honest quote.

We come out, measure the roofline, check the fascia and the downpipes, and give you the number in writing. If the gutters only need repairing, that is what you will be quoted.
