A Colorbond roof that has gone chalky and faded is not finished, it is asking for a recoat. Painting metal is a genuinely different job to painting tile: the rust has to be dealt with first, and the preparation decides whether the coating holds.
Plenty of roof painters quote metal the same way they quote tile. It is not the same work, and the difference shows up two summers later when the coating starts lifting.

Professional roof pressure cleaning at over 4000 psi. No chemical agents, only water, blasting the debris and the chalked oxidised layer off the sheets. Coating over chalk is the single most common reason a metal recoat fails.
Every tek screw that is badly weathered and presents a leak risk gets replaced. That includes hardened grommet seals, over-torqued screws and anything else that could let water in. Up to 30 tek screws are included in the job.
Rust inhibitor applied where the sheeting needs it, up to 20 square metres included. Rust gets treated rather than painted over, because coating on top of live rust just hides it while it keeps going.
